How long will I have to wait to be installed?

If fibre is available to your home, we can typically get you connected in about 10 working days.

However, this really does depend on engineering availability in your area and the installation stage.

We will always try to accommodate the date you have chosen when placing the order, but this is not always possible. We will confirm your installation date via email (please always check you spam mail box too!) within a day or two of placing your order. If you select ASAP when ordering, we’ll select the first installation date available for you automatically. If you need to change the date we’ve offered, just let us know.

What can affect my wait time?
There are four main factors that can affect the time it takes to get you connected to full fibre:

  • Wayleaves (+1 week or more) – If third party wayleave permissions are required for landlords or land-owners.
  • Line of sight problems (+2 weeks or more) – If potential obstructions such as trees or scaffolding need to be removed to connect your property.
  • Traffic management (+3 weeks or more) – If permissions are required from local authority for traffic management.
  • Blocked ducts (+3 weeks or more) – If underground ducts are blocked or damaged and need repairing
